Read what the school sent. Before your visit the school self-rates all 32 aspects and attaches evidence to each. Open a record and go domain by domain — each aspect shows their rating, their documents, and the framework's description of the band they claimed.
Rate it yourself, per visit. Each school is visited twice — Phase 1 for teaching quality, Phase 3 to validate. Use the phase switcher to pick which visit you are recording. Where you differ from the school, you must say why; the save is blocked until you do.
Write the report. The Report tab drafts itself from your ratings, the differences against the school's, and your reasons for them. Edit it, compose it into one document, format it, then publish. Publishing is what the school sees.
Follow the action plan. The school has four weeks after publication to answer with an action per recommendation. You cannot edit their plan — your part is a dated progress review, which the mid-year check-in expects.
Handle any appeal. A school may challenge a domain rating within 10 working days of the report. Appeals appear on the record; a Central Hub admin decides each one with the domain lead, within 15 working days, and that decision is final.
