Engagement in the Sparkuna practice game, from practice_attempts and students. Since 10 October 2026 the Sparkuna pages also send one small pulse a minute while a page is open and in use (page name and seconds only, never answers or clicks) — that feeds Right now and Time on pages.
A student is active on a day they start a practice run. Day-n return is the share of students who signed up on a day and were active again n days later. A run is abandoned when it is still unfinished six hours after it started.
Reading counts books (Grades 1-6) and Morning Reading texts (Grades 7-12) read to the end, from reading_progress, and the book quizzes. Sparkuna keeps only the last day a student read each text, so "read in this period" means "last read in this period".
Eduversal observers, testers, teacher accounts and test accounts are left out. The only names on this page are in Who is online, shown as "Rani S." and only to admins and directors. With few students, read each rate together with the number beside it.
