What you do here

Plan visits, log outcomes, and track the appraisal cycle from one screen.

Log a visit. Use the Visits tab to record on-site monitoring, mid-year check-ins, validation visits, and follow-up notes. The phase strip shows where you are in the annual cycle.

Watch the network. The Network Appraisals tab rolls up teacher appraisals, school self-appraisals, and walkthroughs across all partner schools — finalisation rates, scores, and per-school progress.

Open or close cycles. Admins open appraisal periods in the Cycles tab. A cycle being open is what lets teachers and schools submit — close it when the window ends.

Annual visit calendar follows the Cambridge external-evaluation cycle, anchored to ES 7.2 — Appraisal & Evaluation in the Eduversal Academic Standards. Specialist walkthroughs are tracked on My Induction Walkthroughs and stay confidential per Charter NN2.

Appraisal Cycles

Opening a cycle unlocks submissions across the network for that appraisal type. Closing a cycle stops new submissions but does not delete past records. Only central_admin can open or close cycles.

Cycle Management

Open or close appraisal periods. Teachers can submit appraisals only during open cycles.
