A walkthrough is a brief, unannounced drop-in of about 10–15 minutes, recorded Evident /
Developing / Not Observed across five foci, with one Key Observation and an optional Suggested
Focus (Teacher Appraisal: Walkthrough Form 26-27). Specialist-visit walkthroughs are shared
orally and in aggregate with school management. Anchored to
ES 17.8.
Walkthroughs never feed the formal appraisal score — records carry
contributes_to_formal_score: false. The formal lesson observations that make up
F2 are recorded by the school's own appraisers in Academic Hub. A Subject Specialist's announced lesson
observation goes on Class Observation Entry — formative
